How to equip the changing rooms of an emblematic 5-star hotel
Brief description of the company
Canfranc Station, a Royal Hideaway Hotel 5 welcomes its guests in this emblematic station of Huesca inaugurated in 1928 and declared of Cultural Interest in 2002, at the same time forming part of the Railway Historical and Cultural Heritage.
Barceló Hotel Group recovers this icon located in the Aragonese Pyrenees through a rehabilitation project in which the DNA has been respected, converting the historical emblem into an icon of the 21st century.
Canfranc Estación, a Royal Hideaway Hotel has 104 rooms designed with warm and elegant spaces that blend with subtle art deco elements to create contemporary and nostalgic atmospheres.
What was the problem to be solved?
As in any new building, and even more so in the case of a hotel of these characteristics, the rooms, services and equipment must offer an unforgettable experience to the clients, but also to the employees.
A hotel or any tourist facility with staff, must have adequate equipment in their locker room that allows employees to keep in order and with total security all their belongings, while allowing them agility in the performance in their day to day (inputs, outputs, wardrobe changes …).
The Hotel Canfranc Station needed to equip the changing area for staff of the hotel in a fast and agile company.
What solution did MEGABLOK provide?
MEGABLOK proposed the solution of welded (assembled) monoblock metal lockers, in this case with L-shaped doors, suitable for hanging garments on the long side and shoes, for example, on the wider side.
In addition, legs were added to these lockers to lift them off the floor, in order to make cleaning easier and avoid foreign bodies that are difficult to remove.
As for the lock, a lock with a metal knob was chosen .
